Concerning the Definition of Predestination,[1] consult TRIGLAND’S Kerckelycke Geschiedenissen, volume 1, pages 3b-5a.

[1] Marckius’ definition from his Compendium, chapter VII, § 5: “Now, to us Predestination is, the Decree of God, partly concerning the Deliverance and Salvation of Men, who are going to Fall in time, through Christ and faith in Him, for the glory of God’s grace and mercy; partly concerning the leaving of the rest in misery and their Damnation, for a demonstration of God’s justice.”
