I. Description of the famine, Chapters 1:1-2:17.

1. A magnification of the evil, and an invitation to prayer: chapter 1.

2. The mystery of the famine: chapter 2:1-17.

II. Evangelical promises, Chapter 2:18-32.

III. Judgment of God against the nations, Chapter 3.
