[1] Caspar Sibelius (1590-1658) was a Dutch Reformed minister in Deventer. [2] William Jenkyn (1613-1685) was an English Presbyterian minister. He was ejected in 1662, but continued to preach, eventually suffering arrest in 1685. [3] Hugh Broughton (1549-1612) was an English divine, sympathetic to the Puritans. He developed an international reputation for his Hebrew scholarship. In addition to Discourse upon the Epistle of Jude, he also composed commentaries on Daniel and Revelation. [4] Jacobus Boulducus (flourished c. 1630) was a Franciscan scholar.

Dr. Steven Dilday holds a BA in Religion and Philosophy from Campbell University, a Master of Arts in Religion from Westminster Theological Seminary (Philadelphia), and both a Master of Divinity and a  Ph.D. in Puritan History and Literature from Whitefield Theological Seminary.  He is also the translator of Matthew Poole's Synopsis of Biblical Interpreters and Bernardinus De Moor’s Didactico-Elenctic Theology.
